The Surgery Laser Clinic located at the Beckman Laser Institute is the world’s
first dedicated center for research and treatment using lasers and light. Our doctors have
learned how to harness the precision and power of different lasers to perform delicate
dermatology, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. Since 1986, our specialists have
performed more than 25,000 laser procedures.
Laser treatment is a highly selective process that is typically less traumatic than
general surgery. As a result, patients often heal more quickly because normal,
surrounding tissue is not severely affected. And most procedures can be performed
without the need for hospitalization on site at the Surgery Laser Clinic Beckman Laser
