UC Irvine Healthcare offers the latest medical and surgical treatments for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Patients with this complex illness will receive care from a multidisciplinary team that includes gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, internists and psychiatrists. Sensitive to the psychosocial effects of this chronic disease, the program offers support groups as well as education for patients and families coping with illness.
