Among the many conditions treated by CDDC specialists are pancreatic cancer, acute and chronic pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), bile duct stones, hilar tumors and sphincter of Oddi dysfunction (a condition in which digestive secretions are blocked). Many procedures can be performed using minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques which reduce blood loss and shorten recovery time.
