UC Irvine's Dr. Laura Mosqueda shares recommendations to prevent dementia.

The vulnerable, fast-growing U.S. elderly population's increasing dependence on caretakers and relatives is a "recipe for disaster," UC Irvine's Dr. Laura Mosqueda tells USA Today.

Dr. Laura Mosqueda was awarded Physician of the Year and Dr. Emily Dow was awarded the Family Educator of the Year by the Orange County Chapter of the California Academy of Family Physicians (OC-CAFP).
