The SpineAssist® robotic guidance system allows a surgeon to plot a minimally invasive surgical procedure with three-dimensional images to ensure anatomically precise placement of implants or screws. Immediately before the procedure, the surgeon reviews the X-rays and the surgical plan, then aligns the SpineAssist arm on the patient's spine. The arm then angles a hollow rod into the proper position for the surgeon to insert the implant or screw.
