NEW UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FACT SHEETUniversity of California, Irvine Healthcare is constructing a state-of-the-art hospital at UC Irvine Medical Center, located in Orange, California. The new university hospital will replace a structure built in 1960 and link to an existing building devoted to patient care. Once completed, the new hospital will house the latest medical technologies and strengthen UC Irvine Healthcare’s ability to provide patients with the latest therapies and treatments. Patients visiting the new university hospital will experience a spacious environment with private rooms designed for optimal comfort and healing. UC Irvine Healthcare is committed to providing high-quality patient care and fostering medical breakthroughs through research and education. Site Location The new hospital is visible from the Santa Ana I-5 and Garden Grove SR-22 freeways and located on the north side of the medical center campus, parallel to Chapman Ave. The main entrance faces south.
