ADULT PROGRAM

Psychiatric Medicine offers a full spectrum of comprehensive mental health services for adults including inpatient hospitalization, outpatient and emergency psychiatry. Patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurses, occupational therapists and psychiatric technicians.

Emergency Psychiatry

Emergency evaluations are available 24 hours a day with a physician on site in UC Irvine Medical Center’s Emergency Department. An initial evaluation provides treatment recommendations and appropriate referrals.
