The new UC Irvine Douglas Hospital enhances UC Irvine Healthcare’s ability to deliver comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to residents of Orange County and surrounding communities. Designed to optimize healing, the hospital features spacious, mostly private patient rooms. In addition, it is equipped with the latest technological capabilities to address cancer, cardiac care, digestive diseases, neurological disorders, trauma and critical care, urological conditions and geriatric care. It also offers a collaborative environment for translational medicine – bringing promising treatments to our patients and providing a superior teaching facility to educate and train the next generation of healthcare professionals.
